Jackie Chan is a Hong Kong actor and martial artist who has appeared in over 150 films. Chan began his career in the entertainment industry as a stuntman in Bruce Lee films. He rose to fame for his acrobatic fighting style, incorporating humor and outrageous stunts into his performances. He gained mainstream success with the film Drunken Master (1978) and continued to focus on Hong Kong films throughout the 1980s with hits like Police Story (1985) and Armour of God (1986). He broke through into the North American market in 1995 with the worldwide release of Rumble in the Bronx (1995). Since then he has starred in many global hits including Rush Hour (1998) and the remake of The Karate Kid (2010).
