Movie Description
Outlander is a 2008 science fiction action film directed by Howard McCain. The film stars Jim Caviezel as Kainan, a soldier from a far-off planet who crash lands on Earth during the Viking Age. Kainan brings with him an alien predator known as the Moorwen. As the Moorwen terrorizes the Viking lands, Kainan must ally himself with the Vikings to hunt it down. The film combines science fiction with the historical setting of the Viking Age. The cast also features Sophia Myles, Ron Perlman, Jack Huston, and John Hurt.
