The Center of the World is a 2001 indie drama directed by Wayne Wang. The film centers on Richard (Peter Sarsgaard), a wealthy but lonely software engineer, who offers Florence (Molly Parker), a drummer and part-time stripper, a large sum of money to accompany him on a trip to Las Vegas for three days with some rules to follow.
