Zandalee is a 1991 American erotic thriller directed by Sam Pillsbury. Screenwriter Mari Kornhauser borrows heavily from Emile Zola's 1867 novel Therese Raquin. The film centers on the titular character Zandalee, played by Erika Anderson, who is stuck in a loveless marriage with her husband Thierry, a former poet turned corporate executive portrayed by Judge Reinhold. As their marriage falls apart, Zandalee becomes involved with her husband's old friend Johnny, a bad-boy artist played by Nicolas Cage. As the affair intensifies, it leads them down a path of passion and deceit.
