Movie Description
The Invitation is a 2015 thriller directed by Karyn Kusama. Will (Logan Marshall-Green) and his girlfriend (Emayatzy Corinealdi) are invited to a dinner party hosted by his ex-wife Eden (Tammy Blanchard) and her new husband David (Michiel Huisman) at the house Will and Eden once shared. As the evening progresses, Will becomes increasingly suspicious of Eden and her husband's motives for the gathering, especially after noticing their involvement with a mysterious group. With an atmosphere of escalating tension, the film masterfully weaves together paranoia and past trauma, leading to a chilling climax. The movie received many positive reviews.
