Movie Description
Mother's Day is a 2010 horror thriller directed by Darren Lynn Bousman. A loose remake of Mother's Day (1980), the story follows three brothers who, after a bank robbery goes awry, return to their childhood home. They discover it's been foreclosed and sold to a new family. As the brothers take the homeowners and their guests hostage, they await instructions from their mother (played by Rebecca De Mornay), a sadistic matriarch who will go to extreme lengths to protect her sons. The film got mixed reviews but was praised for De Mornay's performance.
