Movie Description
The Wailing is a 2016 South Korean horror film directed by Na Hong-jin. Set in a small mountain village, the film follows police officer Jong-Goo (Kwak Do-won) as he investigates a series of bizarre, violent events and illnesses that begin happening after the arrival of a mysterious stranger (Jun Kunimura). As the situation grows more chaotic, Jong-Goo's daughter exhibits the same symptoms, pushing him to seek the help of a shaman (Hwang Jung-min) to save her. The film was a critical and commercial success.
