The Lunch Date (1990)

The Lunch Date is a 1990 American short film directed by Adam Davidson. In 2013 the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant". It was entered into the 1990 Cannes Film Festival, where it won the Short Film Palme d'Or. It later went on to be selected as "Dramatic Achievement" in the Student Academy Awards competition on June 10, 1990, and won an Academy Award in 1991 for Best Short Subject.
