Movie Description
La Marseillaise is a (1938) film about the early part of the French Revolution. The film was directed by Jean Renoir. La Marseillaise is shown from the eyes of the citizens of Marseille, counts in German exile and, of course the king Louis XVI each showing their own small problems.
La Marseillaise, while not one of Renoir's better-known films, has received positive reviews from today's critics.
