Anthony Mann
Anthony Mann was an American actor and film director, most notably of films noir and Westerns. As a director, he often collaborated with the cinematographer John Alton and with actor James Stewart in his Westerns. Mann first made his name as director of several films noir. However, Mann is probably best remembered today for his work in the Western genre - particularly for eight film collaborations with James Stewart.
