Joanne Woodward

Joanne Woodward was a brilliant actress on film, television, and the stage. She first gained national attention with her Academy Award-winning performance in the film The Three Faces of Eve (1957), in which she played a woman with dissociative identity disorder. In 1958, she married actor Paul Newman, whom she was with until his death in 2008. They starred in many films together including The Long, Hot Summer (1958), Paris Blues (1961), and A New Kind of Love (1963).
